Bilbao Crystallographic Server Pseudosymmetry search Help

This document explains step by step how the program can be used. Its contents is:

• Input Data
  • Step 1: space group, cell constants, and number of atoms in the asymmetric unit of the structure.
  • Step 2: atomic positions for the atoms in the asymmetric unit.
  • Step 3: Check of the data.
  • Step 4: Select the supergroup/s.
• Output Data
  • Summary of the result - contains the list with the supergroups for which a pseudosymmetry has been found.
  • Full report - detailed information about each one of the pseudosymmetries found in the structure.
