Bilbao Crystallographic Server Pseudosymmetry search Help Input

PSEUDO - a Program for a Pseudosymmetry Search

Online Help - Input Data

The input data for the program is the data for the structure the pseudosymmetry will be searched for, and the supergroup(s) for which the check for pseudosymmetry has to be made. This data is given in four steps: space group and cell constants, atomic positions, check of the data, and supergroup(s).

The program uses the conventional settings of the space groups for the calculation. Nevertheless, you can give the structure data in a non conventional setting if you also give the matrix that relates this non conventional setting with the conventional one.
