Generators and General Positions of Subperiodic Groups

How to select the group
This program gives access to the generators and general positions of subperiodic groups, which contain the frieze, rod and layer groups. Once the subperiodic group is chosen the number of the group as given in the International Tables for Crystallography, Vol. E has to be specified. You can give this number, if you know it, or you can choose it from the table with the chossen group numbers and symbols if you click on the button [choose it].

The available crystallographic data refer either to the standard/default setting of the chose subperiodic group or to the so-called ITE Settings.

To get the data in a non conventional setting it is necessary to specify the corresponding transformation that relates the non-conventional to the standard/default setting of the chosen subperiodic group.
Select the subperiodic group type:
Layer Group
Rod Group
Frieze Group
