Common Subgroups of two Space Groups

Common Subgroups
COMMONSUBS calculates the common subgroups of two space groups given:

  • A maximum k-index which defines the maximum cell multiplication in the subgroup.
  • A ratio between the k-indices ik2/ik1 of the common subgroup.

Only the default choice for the conventional setting of the space groups is used.

Please, enter the sequential number of the space group 1 as given in International Tables for Crystallography, Vol. A or choose it:
Please, enter the sequential number of the space group 2 as given in International Tables for Crystallography, Vol. A or choose it:
Ratio between k-indices ik2/ik1
HINT:The ratio between ik2/ik1 is equal to Zp1/Zp2 being Zp1, Zp2 the number of formula units per primitive unit cells.
Maximum k-index
NOTE: the program uses the default choice for the group setting.
